Happy 1st of May! Great news received this week when President Macron announced that from June 9th there would be a reopening of France's borders to all non-EU visitors for all types of travel - including family visits, tourism and visits from second-home owners.
Anyone travelling in to France will need to show that you have been vaccinated, have had a negative test or have immunity as a result of having had Covid. There will be further planning on how the 'Health Passport' will work this summer. There will be no compulsory quarantine for arrivals in France.
This is fabulous news for all our clients who postponed their treks from 2020 & of course the many folk who desperately want to get back to the beautiful European Alps this summer.
