TMB swiss val ferret route diversion

Last night, an extremely violent storm hit the Swiss Val Ferret. A massive debris flow swept across the Dranse River, damaging the new path that had been installed earlier this summer.

The municipality of Orsières has asked us to inform you that a detour has been in place since this morning. The TMB route now runs partly along the cantonal road and crosses it at several points.

The route is 20 minutes shorter; we urge everyone to use that extra time to exercise great caution.
