TMB Update 9 June 2025

09/06/2025

The 2025 summer season in the Alps is nearly upon us!

We'll be heading out on the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) next week to carry out our pre-season recce. We'll send you a detailed report by Thursday 12th June, including trail conditions for each day and plenty of photos.

In the meantime, please be aware that, as is typical for this time of year, there is still some residual snow on the high cols although less than last year at this time.

For your safety and comfort, Microspikes and trekking poles are essential for crossing any snowfields.

If you already own these items, please bring them with you. Otherwise, we recommend purchasing them before you travel. They may also be available in Chamonix, but stock can be limited.

Please pass this info on to your travel companions.

Until Thursday,

Warm regards from Chamonix,

The MBT Team
