Trail conditions in the Alps April 2025

13/04/2025

After a rather mediocre winter in terms of snowfall here in the Alps, it's finally time to hit the trails again. We've had an exceptionally dry and warm spring so far, which bodes well for the upcoming season just a couple of months away.

In recent years, late snowfalls and lingering cold spring conditions have made the start of the season more of a challenge, especially with snow still covering the higher ground. But this year, it looks like we’re in for a much smoother start to the 2025 season.

This week, we were out hiking on snow-free trails up to 1900m, an absolute treat to be back out in shorts, T-shirts, and trail shoes!

More updates coming over the next few months, stay tuned!
